Peggy Sue
I am so happy to say that Pretty Girl (now Peggy Sue) is in a safe place having her babies with a wonderful person who I have not met (yet). I have just come to know this wonderful Lisa and The Adventures of Space Paws very recently and I am amazed by the caring and wonderful things being done. Sometimes life on a farm isn't always easy and somedays you feel all alone and then you realize there are wonderful people and great things going on that you didn't even know about.:)

Monica,
ReplyDeleteI'm so honored to be a small part of the work you and Sonia have been doing for years! Since we started Space Paws, I've encountered many wonderful folks who are doing the same thing -some right here in MD and others in different states, even different countries. Each of us trying to make our little corner of the world a bit better. Guess that's all any of us can do in the grand scheme of things.
The idea for the blog isn't original, of course, I've been following the work Laurie and Sue have been doing in Tacoma, fostering litters of motherless kittens. Now that's work (I know you know)! I've had the blessing of having a queen each time.
Hugs! And keeping your Mom in prayer!
Lisa
You are so right. When you look at the big picture it seems overwhelming because you want to do so much but if each person could just do small thing to make the world better it would be awesome. When I am feeling overwhelmed I think of a quote from Mother Teresa something like this...."If in this life we cannot do great things, we can do small things with great love"...
