Although we have been busy with the Angels, I have also been overwhelmed with worry about my dear Cleo. He is my kitty and has been for about 13 years. He developed what the vets believe is asthma about a year ago and he had a very bad week last week. I really did not believe he would still be with us today but he is. He was experiencing breathing difficulties all last week but over the weekend he was extremely distressed and was rushed to the vet. They injected him with steriods and antibiotics (in case of any underlying infection) and prescribed and new asthma medication that I got filled at the pharmacy. He hates (and I do mean hates) taking any meds and fights it with everything he has. The vet cautioned any stress could put him over the edge so this was tricky. I was able to get the meds in and still am but it is not pleasant. Today he ate a tiny bit and is finally resting and purring on his heating pad. I had to sleep with him and pet him till he finally let himself sleep. It's been a very rough week.

Angel's surgeries
The Angels have all been spayed now including Mom, Abigail. They seemed to have weathered the surgery just fine and are back to their old selves. Playing and eating. It's been 4 days so safe to say "all is well".
